If for You, telling a story is the most important feature of any visual art, than You should pay attention to images created by John Flury — an inspiring and recognised photographer from Zurich. He is an artist with a great eye for elaborate storytelling, by using communicable yet visually excellent themes. His images were created to open unseen doors of perception, invite You to dream and tell a story beyond Your comprehension. The final effect is groundbreaking.

I see myself not as a photojournalist or “hunter of unique moments”, but as a designer of subtle and exciting realities. I try to create my stories often using only one single image to leave the rest to the viewer’s imagination. It is up to the viewer how they could evolve. My images invite you to dream, to think and always to discover something new. I work hard on my pictures and leave nothing to chance. With much curiosity, patience and openness, I am looking again and again for the symbols, motifs, ambiguities, hidden wisdom and truths, which gives life to us and which can be condensed into a story.
John Flury: I am a photographer from Zurich, Switzerland. In my free work, I follow my urge and passion to tell stories, something I carried over from my childhood. Only the medium I use to I tell stories has changed much over the years. In my late twenties I discovered the power of photography and Photoshop to create realities.
